Island Adirondacks is a small business specialising in the creation of beautiful, durable Adirondack chairs, accessories and outdoor settings. We make Single Adirondack Chairs, a Double Adirondack 'Love Seat' and 'Jack & Jill', Footrests, Side Tables and a Sun Lounge. We also sell a gorgeous Farmhouse Style outdoor dining table with bench seats!
Located in San Remo, Victoria (the quaint shipping village before Phillip Island) our furniture is all individually handcrafted and made-to-order. We use sustainably sourced Spotted Gum finished with Linseed Oil and quality galvanised or stainless steel hardware, to ensure our products are in excellent condition for years to come.
We deliver to Greater Melbourne, Bass Coast Shire and the Peninsula (unfortunately we can't deliver interstate at this time)

CLASSIC ADIRONDACKS

Comfortable and classy the Adirondack chair (pronounced Ad-i-ron-dack) hails from Westport, New York, east of the Adirondack Mountains, and was developed as an outdoor lounge chair in the early 1900s. The chairs were originally crafted from timber and feature a curved back and seat with wide arm rests designed to accommodate beverages and small plates of food. As a testament to their ergonomic properties many of the chairs were found in convalescent homes in the Adirondack Mountains for patients recuperating in the fresh mountain air.
Today they can be found on decks, verandahs, gardens or anywhere you want to relax for hours.

Timeless and elegant this Farmhouse Trestle Style outdoor dining setting is a quality addition to any home. Extremely solid and durable, this table setting is handcrafted in Australia from sustainably sourced Spotted Gum. The setting comes oiled with a natural Linseed Oil and is designed for a covered outdoor area (not suitable for a full weather application)
